They say it'll take 2-3 years. That's an exceptionally optimistic estimate. First they will need to extend to Rewari and then to Alwar; which is a huge distance [cumulative 100km+]. Also, beyond GGN , there are still agricultural fields upto Rewari [atleast on the railway tracks side]. Would a traditional metro type system even get traction as of now?
Second, if they are thinking of running something on the lines of Delhi-Meerut Corridor, even that has an average speed much lower. I would be positively suprised if the mps was 160 kph...

These chains are absolutely perfect ЁЯСН. There is a very good margin of time for Patna. But i think these are too slow option. If possible try for direct trains only, if direct trains are not possible on the particular date, then should go for chain.

Told na Patna khud akela train ni bhar sakta, Majak hai kya ek 22 coach train ko 1 station full pack krde jisko GS me jana hoga usko takleef hoga kyuki Gs gaya se pack ho jayega, Ni to 1 gs locked condition me le ja ke jharkhand ke kisi station par khol sakta hai, Baaki Class ka ARP to sabke liye hai bharo na bhai jitna bharna hai.
