Why can't Amrit Bharat trains be a subset of Mail/Express trains? Why can't the train from Ayodhya be called "Ayodhya - Darbhanga Express"? Apart from push/pull stuff, there is nothing revolutionary. It's not like the interiors suddenly resemble a modern Swiss coach. IR must be the only railways with more than a dozen category of trains already running; each having overlaps with one another. Most of them can just be subsumed under the Mail/Express category[ be it Antyodaya, Duronto, Sampark Kranti or what not; there are basically just minor differences].
It...
more... is an express train that doesn't have AC coaches. What's the point behind giving it a new name? How does the common passenger benefit from having to learn a new name? Is this another example of a government/rail minister trying to leave his "imprint" onto Railways as all previous RMs have done?
