January 25th. Furthermore, dense fog is expected in parts of Delhi, Bihar, and Odisha on January 23rd. The weather forecast suggests that heavy to very dense fog may persist in parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Uttar Pradesh until January 26th.
Several trains to and from the national capital were delayed. The Northern Railway issued an official statement outlining the delays, with the 12801 Rewa-Anand Vihar Express facing the longest delay of 5.45 hours, followed by the 12716 Amritsar-Nanded Express with a delay of 5.30 hours. Other trains that were delayed include the 12423 Dibrugarh-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, 22691 Bangalore-Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express, 15658 Kamakhya-Delhi Junction Brahmaputra Mail, 12447 Manikpur-Nizamuddin Express, 12192 Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Express, 12615 Chennai-New Delhi Express, 12919 Ambedkarnagar-Katra, 12367 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Express, 12553 Saharsa-New Delhi Vaishali Express, 12801 Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express, 12451 Kanpur-New Delhi Shram Shakti Express, 12621 Chennai-New Delhi Express, 12417 Prayagraj-New Delhi Express, 12393 Rajendranagar-New Delhi Express, 12779 Vasco-Nizamuddin Goa Express, 12305 Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, 12309 Rajendranagar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, 22811 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, 12723 Hyderabad-New Delhi Express, 12458 Bikaner-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Express, and 12313 Sealdah-New Delhi Rajdhani Express, with delays ranging from 45 minutes to 5 hours.
Dense to very dense fog conditions were observed in most regions except East Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Punjab, and Tripura. Moderate fog was reported in Haryana-Chandigarh, West Rajasthan, and West Bengal. Shallow fog in Jammu Division, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, and Jharkhand created visibility challenges. At 5:30 AM today, visibility was as follows: 500 meters in the Jammu Division, 50 meters in Patiala, Punjab, 500 meters at Palam and Safdarjung in Delhi, 25 meters in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, 50 meters in Prayagraj, 25 meters in Gaya, Bihar, and 200 meters in Patna.
On January 21st, the minimum temperature in many parts of Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh remained below 2-4 degrees Celsius. Hisar, Haryana reported a minimum temperature of 2.8 degrees Celsius.

Haryana-Chandigarh, West Rajasthan, aur West Bengal mein moderate fog report hui. Jammu Division, Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, aur Jharkhand mein shallow fog ne visibility ko challenge create kiya. Aaj subah 5:30 baje, alag alag jagah pe visibility yeh thi: Jammu Division mein 500 meter visibility thi, Punjab ke Patiala mein sirf 50 meter visibility thi, Delhi ke Palam aur Safdarjung mein 500 meter visibility thi, Uttar Pradesh ke Varanasi mein 25 meter visibility thi, Prayagraj mein 50 meter visibility thi, Bihar ke Gaya mein 25 meter visibility thi, aur Patna mein 200 meter visibility thi.
21 January ko, Haryana-Chandigarh-Delhi, West Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, aur Madhya Pradesh ke kai parts mein minimum temperature 2-4 degrees Celsius se kam raha. Hisar, Haryana mein 2.8 degrees Celsius minimum temperature report kiya gaya tha.
