The family is accusing the hospital of negligence and may file a lawsuit seeking compensation. The Chief Safety Officer (CSO) of the South Eastern Railway zone, Brijesh Mishra, is investigating the incident. 65 railway employees have been summoned to Ranchi headquarters for questioning. The investigation is ongoing and the Neelachal Express engine in Tatanagar has been sealed for inspection of its pantograph and other operational instruments.
