इसके लिए नई पिट लाइन का काम
शुरू कर दिया गया है। सिटी स्टेशन के
यार्ड में रेलगाडियों के रखरखाव के लिए
वर्तमान में तीन पिट लाइन उपलब्ध हैं।
इन पर उदयपुर आने
वाली रेलगाडियों का रखरखाव
किया जाता है।
गाडियों की संख्या बढ़ने के कारण
गाडियों का समय पर रखरखाव
नहीं हो पा रहा था।
रेलवे प्रशासन ने हाल ही नई पिट लाइन
निर्माण की वित्तीय
स्वीकृति जारी कर कार्यादेश निकाले
हैं। मौजूदा पिट लाइन और मीटरगेज
प्लेटफार्म के बीच की जगह पर नई पिट
लाइन का कार्य चल रहा है।
यहां पॉकलेन मशीन की से खुदाई करवाई
जा रही है। मीटरगेज प्लेटफार्म पर लगे
शेड को भी हटाया जा रहा है।
नया मीटरगेज प्लेटफार्म दूसरी ओर
बनाया जाएगा।

खमेसरा का कहना है कि नई पिट लाइन
बनने से उदयपुर में नई
गाडियों का विस्तार होगा। यहां के
लिए नई गाडियां मांगने में
सुविधा होगी। गाडियों का रखरखाव
नियमित और समय पर हो सकेगा।
बेकार न हो जाए करोड़ों खर्च
जानकारों का कहना है कि नई पिट
लाइन से रेल सुविधाओं में विस्तार होगा,
लेकिन सिटी स्टेशन यार्ड में अभी किए
जा रहे करोड़ों खर्च भविष्य में बेकार न
हो। भविष्य में उदयपुर-अहमदाबाद
आमान परिवर्तन होने पर उदयपुर में
गाडियों का आवागमन बढ़ेगा और तब
गाडियां खड़ी करने के लिए
मौजूदा रेललाइन कम पड़ेगी।
ऎसे में नई पिट लाइन को हटाकर नई रेल
लाइनें बिछाने के सिवाय कोई विकल्प
नहीं होगा। जानकारों का कहना है
कि नई पिट लाइन यहां नहीं बनाकर
मात्र आठ किलोमीटर दूर
उमरड़ा (उमरा) स्टेशन पर उपलब्ध
लम्बी-चौड़ी जगह पर
बनाया जा सकता था। इससे
उमरा का विकास होने के साथ
ही वहां तक ब्रॉडगेज लाइन बिछाने से
आरएसएमएमएल के रॉक फॉस्फेट
का लोडिंग-अनलोडिंग शुरू हो सकेगा।
इससे रेलवे को सालाना करोड़ों रूपए
की आय भी होगी।

Accordingly, the following features will be introduced by tomorrow.
1. We shall be adding a new Opinion called "Objection". Any long-time member (recipient of >= 50 positive opinions) will be able to make an "Objection" to ANY blog, based on his OWN perception. The Objection will be anonymous. Reason need not be provided.

2. If any Blog exceeds 5 Objections, the blog will AUTOMATICALLY be REMOVED. Whenever a Blog is removed, the member will automatically get a Pvt. Post to that effect notifying him of the same.

3. All members will be able to view their deleted posts (along with regular posts) under the "My Posts" subtab.

4. The number of Objections against any member will be displayed against that member's statistics.

Hopefully, the above evolution of Deletion standards will stem the tide of controversies in this site.
