y only 4 pairs, max # of trains need to be diverted via GALA-RYP bypass & make BZA Congestion free. halts should be provided both @ GALA/NZD & RYP. MEMU trains should run between EE-BZA-MDR-KMT to mitigate the loss.

సర్దుకోవాల్సి వస్తోంది. ఫలితంగా ఒక్క నెలలోనే రైళ్ల రాకపోకల్లో 178 గంటల సమయం వృథా అయింది. కాగ్‌ అధ్యయనంలో ఈ విషయం వెల్లడైంది. ఈ అధ్యయన నివేదికను మంగళవారం పార్లమెంటుకు సమర్పించారు. ఇందులో విజయవాడ స్టేషన్‌ స్థితిగతులపై సమీక్షించారు. ఇక్కడ రద్దీ తగ్గించాలంటే ప్లాట్‌ఫామ్స్‌ విస్తరణ, యార్డు పునరుద్ధరణ, ఆటోమేటిక్‌ బ్లాక్‌ సిగ్నలింగ్‌ వ్యవస్థను వేగంగా పూర్తి చేయాలని కాగ్‌ సూచించింది.
* విజయవాడకు రోజూ వచ్చీపోయే రైళ్లు: 194
* ఒక నెలలో వృథా అయ్యే సమయం: సుమారు 178 గంటలు
* విజయవాడలో ఉన్న వాషింగ్‌ పిట్‌ లైన్లు: 5
* ఇందులో 24కోచ్‌ల రైళ్లను శుభ్రపరిచే లైన్లు: 3
* 2017 మార్చిలో విజయవాడ, దానికి సమీపంలో ఉన్న స్టేషన్ల మధ్య 1,162 రైళ్లను 11,575 నిమిషాల మేర నిలిపేశారు.
* విజయవాడ నుంచి బయలుదేరే 518 రైళ్లు ఆలస్యంగా మొదలయ్యాయి.
* విజయవాడ స్టేషన్‌కు సమీపంలో ప్యాసింజర్‌ రైళ్లను సగటున 10 నుంచి 18 నిమిషాలపాటు నిలిపేస్తున్నారు.
* 2007 - 2017 మధ్య పదేళ్లలో దాదాపు 38% సర్వీసులు పెరిగాయి. ఇదే సమయంలో ప్లాట్‌ఫామ్‌ల సంఖ్య 7 నుంచి 10కి మాత్రమే పెరిగింది.
