Is any fare difference between sleeper class reserved and sleeper class unreserved tickets?.

the unreserved sleeper claass ticket z available....u can take it from unreserveve booking counter...this ticket z permitted only in day time journey and for short distance means within 400 km...the fare z rs 20 less from reserve ticket....u can board into a sleeper coach which has ex-qouta for some station...7057 example z very much true...also 2139 from cstm to nk(s 5 coach)....some wr trains also habve this facility from bct to st....if u demmand a seat no to tte then he will charge rs. 20 against reservation charges...and will allot a seat upto that station...thank u

thank u Murli sir for correcting me....i said it because i read someting about this in CR's zonal railway time table....& all these examples (7057, 2139, 1040...) are having journey within 500 kms....THANK U

i have taken such a kind of UNRESERVED SLEEPER CLAASS tickets...I don't know whether that z right or wrong...but i have read this in CR, s zonal time table...Also I have seen these tickets with some of my MILITARY friends....they says that....if our leave intimated to us on the same then we take this ticket on WARRANT (military concession) and travel in sleeper coach for LONG or SHORT distance may not be important....THANK U

Murli Sir ...I would also add that...200km minimum fare journey restriction z also applicable in these tickets....for 120 km journey u will have to buy a Rs 100 ticket...which z minimum fare for sleeper class...THANK U

I would like to add one point here....there are some fixed coaches in some trains which has EX booking from a particular station we can name it as REMOTE LOCATION...upto that stattion those coaches goes vaccant so the URSL ticket provided to seat in that coaches....like 2139 S-5 & S-6 are from NK....there are many SOUTH BOUND trains from CSTM are having this facility upto PUNE...I have that list & surely upload that today only....then WR also have this function upto ST or BL

Why doesn't IR introduce online concessional ticket reservation for the handicapped? This could work in much the same way as in the case of booking of concessional tickets for the Senior Citizens. The original disability certificate could be verified by the TT during the journey. The fact that a disabled person has to go all the way to the Ticket Booking centre (most of which are not disabled friendly) defeats the very purpose of this facility being provided by the IR.

You are right in a way. Just that the selection of the right
concession code might pose problems during booking and thereafter.
Even free passes and PTOs / school concessions etc. can be allowed,
but if one chooses the wrong concession code, then he could be

mmr se SHANI SHINGANAPUR 140 km hai....on the way u can visi to SHIRDI also...u can hire taxi from mmr station ....they will charge nearly Rs.2000 for MMR-SHIRDI-SHINGANAPUR...also BUS option is widely available for SHINGNAPUR....but u will have to alight at RAHURI(32 km away from SHINGANAPUR)....fare z approx. Rs.90 for RAHURI...THANK U
