Two engines, instead of one, will drive each Rajdhani and Shatabdi train soon to give them additional speed and cut journey time significantly.

For Going to Such Decisions They should check the Condition of Tracks. Fully Falltu Bakwaas News. Then Low MPS tracks Have to be Upgraded in IR.
For NFR all All Tracks to Upgraded
Which has Slowest Rajdhani Pair 12435/36 & 12235/36. Where success rate is Low. But It will Huge Hit For NJP HWH Shatabdi Express having 70 Kmph average Speed

Their idea is for better acceleration only I guess as of now. Indirectly they are saying more stops will be given to Raj and Shatabdi's from now on :).
No use of two engines..MPS has to be increased..A single locomotive can also pull up to 160 km/hr..
Two locomotives will only result in increase in running cost..and eventually increase in losses..

bro but we are now proceeding towards speedy trains , so we need to upgrade from ICF to LHB very soon. Me not saying they are bad.
