The decline in ridership on the Western Railway (WR) suburban network is partly attributed to the launch of three new metro lines. These metro lines serve the western suburbs and run parallel to the existing WR suburban network, providing alternative transportation options.

Western Railway (WR) ke suburban network pe ridership mein girāwat ka ek kaaran yeh bhi hai ki teen new metro lines start hui hain. Yeh metro lines western suburbs mein service de rahi hain aur WR suburban network ke parallel chalta hai, isse alternative transportation options mil gaye hain.
