Kolkata Metro is increasing the frequency of trains on the Howrah-Esplanade route during Durga Puja, to manage the increased passenger load. 7:00 AM, and the last train will leave at 9:45 PM. On Sunday (October 6), 82 trains will run on this route, compared to the usual 46, with the first train from Howrah leaving at 1:55 PM and from Esplanade at 2:00 PM. The last train will leave from both stations at 10:00 PM. The interval between trains will be reduced from 20 minutes to 12-15 minutes. From October 10th to 11th, 248 trains will run on the Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar route, with the same frequency as before.
