Mumbai’s suburban network to get major upgrade
Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that approximately 300 kilometers of new track will be added to the Mumbai Metropolitan Region's railway network in the near future. This announcement comes ahead of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections.
