వెయ్యి కోట్లతో అమరావతి రైల్వే లైన్ - పనులు వేగవంతం - New Amaravati Railway Line

The Indian Railways department has identified a need for 510 acres of land for the new Amaravati railway line. has agreed to bear this cost. Land acquisition will take place across three districts: NTR district (296.86 acres), Guntur district (155 acres), and Khammam district in Telangana (60 acres). While the project was initially proposed in 2017-18 with an estimated cost of ₹2.8 billion, it was neglected by the previous government. The current government, with the support of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), has revived the project, which is now a priority for the Railways. NTR district mein 296.86 acres, Guntur district mein 155 acres aur Telangana ke Khammam district mein 60 acres land liya jaayega. Yeh project pehle 2017-18 mein ₹2.8 billion ke budget se propose kiya gaya tha, lekin pehle ki sarkar ne isko neglect kar diya. Abki sarkar, NDA ke support ke saath, yeh project phir se start kar rahi hai aur yeh Railways ke priority projects mein se ek hai. Railways department koi bhi new alignment proposals nahi consider kar raha hai aur woh original plan pe hi chal raha hai, jismein Krishna Canal junction ke paas railway station banane ka koi plan nahi hai. Is decision ke against kuchh opposition bhi hai, kyunki junction ke paas pehle se hi land available hai, jisse land acquisition ka kharcha 30% kam ho sakta hai.
