The 05219 special train to Anand Vihar was rescheduled due to track repairs but departed 4 hours and 18 minutes late. The 02569 Barouni-New Delhi special train was delayed by 4.19 hours due to track repairs. The 02563 Darbhanga-New Delhi special train was delayed by 1.19 hours at Samastipur junction, arriving in Muzaffarpur 6.13 hours late. Other delayed trains included the 02564 New Delhi-Barouni special (4.18 hours), 02570 New Delhi Darbhanga special (2.37 hours), and the 04021 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar special (2.42 hours). ट्रेन से गिरकर आयुष डॉक्टर की मौत, झपटमारी में हादसे की आशंका

Dr. Harendra Kumar (45), a resident of Jhanjharpur in Madhubani, died after falling from the 15507 Darbhanga-Patliputra Intercity Express. Railway Police took possession of the body and conducted a post-mortem. They are investigating the incident further based on the statement of his daughter. It is unclear how he fell from the train. Local residents suspect he might have fallen while trying to resist a mobile phone snatching attempt. However, the railway police state that the phone was found with the deceased, ruling out mobile snatching as the cause. The cause of his fall is under investigation. The body was handed over to his daughter after the post-mortem. He was traveling from Darbhanga to Patna for personal work when he fell from the moving train. He sustained severe head injuries.
