Rahul's father, Indrajit Paswan, took him to Dhanbad for treatment with the help of locals. The Jodapokhar police arrived at the scene and took possession of the bike (registration number not provided) and the truck (JH 10 CB 5230). Former councilor Manoj Sav, who led the road blockade, demanded that the transporter provide full medical treatment and compensation to the injured. The police took everyone to the station and cleared the road after about an hour of blockage.
