For people who are fan of McDonalds, there is one outlet near Thane railway station. Get out towards Thane West from pf2 and take the road below the satis bridge. You will see a square and restaurant nearby. Take left immediately and walk few meters and you will see the outlet towards left.
Also, there is Krishna sweets just outside station where you can get some excellent and tasty snacks like samosa, vada, cutlet, etc. Worth trying.

Thane Station has Wi-Fi facility enabled. Not exactly sure since when but I have used it a couple of times while waiting for train.
