Jocularly speaking, Today on one hand "they" steal head phones and LED screens and on the other hand complain of food quality. Tomorrow even if the food quality improves, there may be complain that the food quantity is not enough to get the leftover parcelled!!
The combination of snacks served in Tejas is really funny and is an indication that the persons involved does not have basic minimum idea about it.

more... seriously speaking, "Public" is a very unpredictable and diverse in real sense. And the worst part is, just "like one bad fish can dirty the whole pond", a "minority of wrong doers bring shame to whole populace". 8-10 headphones missing out of 1000 is not a very big number but cannot be ignored.

A thorough investigation is required, when the things were actually stolen. Stealing by paxs is very difficult as there were CCTV cameras working throughout the journey of train in addition to presence of paxs in a well patronised train. It needs to be investigated, whether there is any loophole in the camera system. Surprisingly there is no news about stealing of taps from the Tejas. No theft of the taps indicate that the theft has happened in the yard.

If paxs are found to be stealing headphones, IR may provide headphone on rent to paxs through attendants or they may bring their headphones and plug in during the journey.
