Bangalore, Dec 29: The South Western Railway has launched a special train service for passengers traveling to Goa for the New Year. The Yeshwanthpur-Vasco da Gama special train (06597-06598) will leave Yesvantpur at 11.30 pm on December 30. The next day Vasco da Gama will arrive at 1.50pm. The same train will leave Vasco da Gama at 12.05 pm on January 1, 2022 and arrive at Yeshwanthpur. The train which leaves Yeshwanthpur will reach Vasco da Gama via Tumkur, Tipatur, Arasikere, Kadur, Chikkajur, Davangere, Harihara, Ranbennur, Haveri, Hubli, Dharwad, Londa, Castle Rock, Kulam and Madgaon. The train comprises two AC3 tires, eight sleeper-grade coaches and four regular-class coaches, according to the South Western Railway announcement.
