The event at New Dagmagpur station was attended by Union Minister of State and MP Anupriya Patel, who emphasized the Indian Railways' commitment to strengthening infrastructure in Uttar Pradesh. Ongoing railway projects in the state include the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Nagar to Yamuna Bridge-Prayagraj line and the Jivnathpur to Jigna section in Mirzapur, costing 3900 crores and 1920 crores respectively. The inauguration also included the launch of developmental projects at New Mirzapur station (29 crores), New Dagmagpur station (38 crores), and New Ahraura station (34 crores). The Dedicated Freight Corridor is part of the National Rail Plan, aiming for 100% electrification, multi-tracking of high-pressure routes, increased train speeds on Delhi-Howrah and Delhi-Mumbai lines (up to 160 kmph), and eliminating all level crossings. The event at New Ahraura Road station featured a video conferencing address by the Prime Minister, cultural performances, and was attended by local dignitaries.
