Meanwhile, CMRL's innovative tunnel ventilation solution for its Phase II project, which involved placing Tunnel Ventilation Fans (TVFs) at one end of the station, has been shortlisted for an award at the 20th international symposium on aerodynamics, ventilation and fire in tunnels in Copenhagen, Denmark. This innovative approach reduced the number of fans needed, saving space and cost while still meeting fire safety requirements.
