The counting process concluded on Friday. Following the release of the results, celebrations with drums and music broke out at various stations, departments, and workshops within the Chakradharpur Rail Division, where the winning candidates belong. The winning candidates and their supporters exchanged greetings, applying color powder (abir) on each other. Rajesh Kumar, a junior engineer, secured victory in Unit 73 at the DEN office of the Chakradharpur Rail Division headquarters. He received 61 votes. Kumar is the secretary of the Aditya-pur branch of the South Eastern Railway Mens Union and serves as a junior engineer in the railway track department at Aditya-pur. Celebrations followed his victory. Each union claimed victory for its supported candidates in the election of 81 delegates for the Chakradharpur Rail Division. However, there has been no official confirmation of these claims. The South Eastern Railway Mens Union claims to have secured 37 delegates, the South Eastern Railway Mens Congress 24, the All India Loco Running Staff Association (ALRSA) 11, the Independent candidate 1, the South Eastern Railway SC ST Railway Employees Union 2, the OBC candidate 1, the South Eastern Railway Workers Union 1, the All India Railway Track Maintainer Union 2, and the All India Railway Guard Council 2. However, the South Eastern Railway Mens Congress's division coordinator, Shashi Ranjan Mishra, states that they have won 28 delegates. Other unions and associations are also claiming victory. Notably, this election was not held under the banner of any specific union. Each union fielded its own candidates. A total of 530 delegates have been elected for the South Eastern Railway, South Eastern Central Railway, and East Coast Railway to elect 18 directors.
