Meanwhile, Tata Power-DDL and Nissin Electric have partnered to launch a demonstration project in India, using a micro substation with a Power Voltage Transformer (PVT) to supply electricity to remote areas. The project is supported by Japan's Energy Efficiency Technologies initiative. Maruti Suzuki India announced the launch of its first electric vehicle (EV), a mid-size SUV with a 500 km range, in January 2025. The EV will be powered by a 60 kWh battery and is expected to be priced above ₹15 lakh. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has stated that India will soon be able to export lithium-ion batteries globally due to the rapid growth of battery manufacturing in the country.

Iske saath hi, Tata Power-DDL aur Nissin Electric ne India me ek demonstration project launch kiya hai, jisme ek micro substation ka use ho raha hai, jisme Power Voltage Transformer (PVT) hai, yeh remote areas me electricity supply karne ke liye hai. Yeh project Japan ke Energy Efficiency Technologies initiative se support kiya gaya hai. Maruti Suzuki India ne apna pehla electric vehicle (EV) launch karne ka announcement kiya hai, yeh ek mid-size SUV hai jiska range 500 km per charge hai, January 2025 me launch hoga. EV 60 kWh battery se powered hoga, aur iski price ₹15 lakh se zyada hone ki ummeed hai. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari ne kaha hai ki India jaldi hi lithium-ion batteries globally export karne ki position me hoga, kyunki desh me battery manufacturing ka bahut fast growth ho raha hai.
