Very useful and interesting info regarding delay of Indian Railways and the most interesting was 13006 overtaking itself ЁЯШВ. I had one similar instance back in 2016. My northeast 12506 express came 27 hrs delayed at kanpur and the real Northeast was 4 hours behind our train, however we didn't face the overtake till my destination KIR.

It can happen if current day train is on slot and previous day train is highly off slot. Isn't it normal??If trains get delayed by any chance a high priority train can also be looped for on slot trains.

13483/84 Farakka Express via Ayodhya's Punctuality is downgrading day by day. Since 1 month this train is running with 7- 10 hr Delay . What can be the reason ??

Similarly 13413/14 Farakka Express via Sultanpur is running with 2hr delay but delay is increasing gradually every week. Since both trains use same 7 rakes.

Even today also this train got rescheduled for 6 hrs from Balurghat. When it was between Malda & Old Delhi it was punctual but after extending from both sides , this train now is in list of Top delayed Trains like South Bihar, Azad Hind , Howrah Mumbai Duronto etc .

What can be done to improve it's punctuality??

Ek baat batao clearly state karo ki kis baat pe confuse ho. Kota se HO quota me seats available hai ya nahi. Agar ye confusion hai to hogi hi. Ab tumhare question ka jawab. Han Maine lagwaya hai HO quota Katihar junction se un trains me jinme katihar se RLWL hota hai. Suppose awadh assam jo dibrugarh se aati hai usme dedicated HO hota hai katihar se. Dibrugarh ki charting ho bhi jayegi uske baad bhi Katihar se agar HO lagta hai to RLWL GNWL me badal jata hai.
