from the Prayagraj, Agra, and Jhansi divisions, and is requesting the creators to submit digital data and prototypes for evaluation. NCR, along with North Eastern Railway (NER) and Northern Railway (NR), are further developing these ideas. The 11 startup areas include: using remote sensing and GIS for bridge inspection, track cleaning machines, broken rail detection systems, rail stress monitoring, head-way improvement for suburban trains, automation for track inspection, superior elastomeric pads (EM pads) for heavy goods transportation, online condition monitoring system for traction motors of electric locomotives, lightweight wagon design, using digital data to improve passenger services, and developing an app for post-training revision and self-service refresher courses.
