Additionally, a significant number of people from the Terai region of Uttarakhand travel to Amritsar for employment, and there is a constant flow of soldiers from Uttarakhand to the Attari border, Bagha border, and Jammu and Kashmir. The lack of direct train service causes significant inconvenience to these travelers. The Minister highlighted that this train would not only benefit the local population but also facilitate tourists visiting Nanakmatta Gurudwara Sahib.
