Passengers are facing problems at Lucknow Junction. A cable car, built for passenger convenience between Mawaia and Charbagh, has over 150 potholes, leading to injuries. This cable car service charges Rs. 60 for four-wheelers and Rs. 25 for two-wheelers for every two hours, and Rs. 35 for three-wheelers every 30 minutes....

Despite numerous complaints, the contractor has not repaired the cable car. Passengers are also charged for using the cable car even if they are not going to the station, with the railway claiming it is not their responsibility. The Northeast Railway PRO, Mahesh Gupta, has stated that repairs will be done soon.

25 leta hai, aur har 30 minute mein three-wheelers se Rs. 35 leta hai. Bahut sari shikayaton ke baad bhi, contractor ne cable car ko repair nahi kiya hai. Passengers se cable car use karne ke liye charge liya ja raha hai, bhais station nahi jaane wala hai, aur railway kehne par aa raha hai ki yeh unki responsibility nahi hai. Northeast Railway ke PRO, Mahesh Gupta ne bataaya ki repair jaldi hi karwaya jaayega.
