The 46 km long electrified route between Reasi and Baramulla is a significant part of the 272 km USBRL project, which aims to connect Kashmir with the rest of India by rail. The project includes long tunnels and the world's highest rail bridge, the Chenab Bridge, showcasing India's engineering prowess. The train service is expected to enhance connectivity, boost tourism and trade, and promote social integration in Jammu and Kashmir.

Reasi aur Baramulla ke beech 46 km long electrified route 272 km USBRL project ka ek important part hai, jiska maqsad Kashmir ko rail se India ke baaki hisse se connect karna hai. Is project mein lambi tunnels aur duniya ka sabse uncha rail bridge, Chenab Bridge, shamil hai, jo India ki engineering proficiency ko dikhata hai. Train service se connectivity badhne, tourism aur trade ko boost milne aur Jammu aur Kashmir mein social integration ko promote hone ki ummeed hai.
