Express will travel via a new route, passing through Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Dhanbad, JCDH, Patna, Patliputra, and Chhapra. The train will make stops at 18 stations including Ranchi, Muri, Bokaro Steel City, Chandrapura, Dhanbad, Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, JCDH, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Patna Sahib, Patna, Patliputra, Didhwara, Chhapra, Siwan, Bhatni, and Deoria Sadar. Train number 18629 will depart from Ranchi at 5:30 PM and arrive in Gorakhpur at 11:30 AM the next day. The return journey will begin from Gorakhpur at 3:30 PM and arrive in Ranchi at 9:25 AM the following day.
