junaidf_99~ 124 blog postsNow that Jalna-Jalgaon line has been announced via Ajanta, once the line gets inaugurated, does anyone think it’ll be better that SCR re-routes this train ( *Ajanta* Express) to run upto Ajanta (or maybe upto Jalgaon), instead of via AWB, upto Manmad?
Afaik much of the patronisation of this train comes from MMR-AWB section. Please reply with your opinions.

Jalna -Ajanta can get separate new trains once new line opens. No need to divert the train.
Political Blunder.. that's how politicians and there vote bank ruins everything.. Line should have been jalgaon ajanta to Chhatrapati sambhajinagar ( Aurangabad) .. it is 4th biggest city of Maharashtra.. now if there are any trains from nanded, you could hav easily diverted them to this line frm AWB to jalgaon instead of manmad but now you can't do it as you can't miss halt at AWB.. you just can't divert train from jalna to jalgaon and skip AWB.. it is just political Blunder.. jalgaon AWB line could hav been more beneficial

Railfan_SRDiv^~ 2617 blog postsIts so stupid for SCR to make Ajanta and KCG MYS depart from KCG in adjacent PF ! Ajanta leaves from PF 5 of KCG whereas KCG MYS leaves from PF 4 of KCG. I mean seriously ! They dont even use flip board concept - passengers are getting confused. One timing need to be changed in such a way that one arrives after the first one leaves the PF when they come from Yard.

For that day it would have been such. However this isn't usual.
Yes Mysore and Venkatadri are parked either at CVB / Bolarum. they come up with same loco. Whenever I go to Malkajgiri I see them 1st the Mysore at 6pm and later Venkatadri at 6.30pm. hence you are seeing them coming from SC side. Ideally it's STPD-B 😝
Mysore exp comes from Medchal side I see it daily from my college bus 😂 near Gundlapochampally bridge, Venkatadri remains parked at BMO the majority

Why not construct some pitlines at Medchal and start originating Venkatadri, Mysore Express from there itself with a halt at Malkajgiri.

Both of them are running with E locos 😁 ideally HYB division has to be keen to construct pit-lines, however that's a far away dream.
