The number of trains operating on this route has increased from an average of 42-44 daily in 2022 to 54-56 currently, with 10 more trains proposed. The proposed elevated track, estimated to cost over ₹1000 crores, has faced delays due to regulatory hurdles. While various proposals and surveys were conducted over the years, including an elevated track from Nanakari to Anwarganj with an estimated cost of ₹1175 crores, none have materialized. The most recent proposal, an elevated track from Mandhana to Anwarganj, with a revised cost of ₹995 crores, was sent to the Railway Board in December 2023 but faced further delays. The matter is once again in limbo, with the upcoming Lok Sabha elections hindering any further progress.

par election ki guidelines aane par yeh matter chhup jaata hai. Is route par trains ki frequency bhi badh gayi hai, 2022 mein daily average 42-44 trains thi, ab yeh 54-56 trains daily ho gayi hai. Elevated track ke liye proposal banaya gaya, jiske liye ₹1000 crore se zyada cost aane ki baat hai, par regulatory hurdles ke wajah se delay ho raha hai. Bahut saare proposals aur surveys hue hain, jaise Nanakari se Anwarganj tak elevated track, jiska cost ₹1175 crore aaya, par kuchh bhi nahi hua. December 2023 mein Mandhana se Anwarganj tak elevated track ka proposal ₹995 crore ki cost se Railway Board ko bheja gaya, par phir bhi delay ho gaya.
